I would disagree with the fact that those changes taking place means one has changed. Sanaa is still sanaa. I also think ur taking the term "never changes" literally. All it means is that his principles never change. Physically, he can change into whatever he wants. Burning bush, cloud, storm, you name it. He gets sad because we make him sad and because he's a loving God. if he wasnt caring, He wouldnt give a rats ass about us. For instance, am very sure he gets angry and sad when ATlian questions his existence and holiness but He's still merciful to give you a chance to repend. It is the feeling a parent gets when a child disowns him.

I dont think God is surprised coz He knows everything that's going to happen. As for your question about why he has to get angry when he knew all along. The answer is simple. If a policeman knew you were going to rob a bank, would he arrest you before you break into the bank? In a law abiding society, NO. He'll wait till u steal, arrest you so that you the thief will have no excuse at all and he'll have all the evidence. God gives everyone of us a chance. So when we screw up that chance, of course He gets angry. God is a just God and so, he cant pre-judge. Remember He's not gon be happy to send His own pple to hell. He'd like all of us to go to heaven.

Remember, the good human attributes are from God. The bad e.g boredom come from Satan. hence him saying that the mind of an idler is the devil's workshop. Does God laugh? Sure. Laughter is a good thing. Does he crack jokes? Depends on how you look at it. The bible is full of humor for me. But most earthly 'jokes' are derived from sin. E.g when someone says, " I slept with your mama and she's a freak", pple can laugh but do u expect God to laugh at that? No. Good humorors were created by God so they can entertain his people. So God must love good humor.
