First I ask, isn't Jesus Christ God in which case in getting to Christ you have already gotten to God.
Second, does this mean that if I choose to live a life obeying all the 10 commandments ONLY, commandments given to Moses directly by God, and not particularly following the teachings laid out in the new testament I will not be saved?
Finally, did you ever stop to consider that it simply meant that through is death on the cross, Jesus saved mankind by opening up the gates of heaven.
