About the incest thingi - incest is definitely forbidden in the bible, and the punishment is death:

Leviticus 20:17 And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.

But twice, incest has been the reason why the world was populated:

1) We are all descended from Adam and Eve, so that means their kids had to have sex with each other since there was no one else to have sex with. Also, Eve was made from Adam's rib, so some may consider that cloning a form of incest.

2) After god's genocidal rage wiped out all but a few humans in the great flood, we were then produced by the incestuous activities of Noah's kids and their kid's kids.

So holding that incest is a crime yet having the world populated twice as a result of incest is an obvious contradiction.

Another puzzling thing is, after Cain killed Abel, there were 3 poeple alive on earth (him, Adam and Eve), but after god drove him away to be a vagabond, he's scared of being killed by "other" people out there:

Genesis 4:14 "Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me."

Who the hell were these other people out there? And when Cain later married, where the heck did his wife come from?
