Hey Teejay

First of all your example did no justice to your intelligence. If that were the case then we'd be eating clothes.
I shall break it down in very simple terms for you to understand.
Fundamentally there are basically four things only that we can take into our bodies
1. the air we breathe
2. the solids we eat
3. the liquids we drink
4. the knowledge/ information we take in.
Anything else cannot and will not affect our bodies as much as these four by one's own choice.
What I think about might affect the next person because it may be in conflict with the next person's thought...ever heard of negative vibes??? that's what it means. But ultimately I can act upon or change my thought.
What I wear by my own choice cannot directly affect the next person unless that person pays too much attention to what i am wearing....in which case that person does not know how to use their own time and should be more concerned with his or her own problems before looking at what i wear.
What i wear will not directly affect my thoughts but it might affect anyone who pays too much unnecessary attention to it.
If my thoughts about what i wear are tuned towards my ego or pride then there will be a severe pitfall in my thought before what i wear. My point, if i think modesty i will dress modestly.......nevertheless i may still think modesty and dress according to what I like, not what you would like to see me wear.
Thought, word, action.....that is the holy trinity.
Remember, not many of the most wicked people on this world have dressed skimpily or weirdly. Hitler was never publicly seen dressed unmodestly and so was Stalin, Pol Pot
Saddam, well...ok some exceptions there but we all know most people who destroyed humanity were always modestly dressed.
Forget about the lass who shows off her nice pair of legs on sunday, if she's got a good heart let her be....just don't look if it turns you on or learn to control your feelings aka erections.
-the paradigm shifter.......God's friend.
The soul is that which beholds beauty even when the mind denies it.
