God, it seems created men in such a way that they would need Him. Its almost like he left a void which only He can fill. ofcourse many people (infact a majority) reject Him and attempt to fill the void with intellectualism, materialism, Nationalism and a whole lot of stuff that doesn't work.

The reason why many people go round christian bashing is because they knopw in their hearts they lack something and tearing into Christianity (which is what they suspect they need) gives them a little sense of comfort what Anna Freud would have termed Reaction Formation.

Thats the reason why Atheists spend countless resources trying to prove God does not exist. I am yet to meet someone who spends so much resources trying to prove that pigs can't fly or that there are aliens in Jupiter.

Listen to the little voice in your heart. The Bible says that He stands and knocks at the door, whoever shall open his Heart, He will come in and share the riches of the Father with Him. Those who believe in Him will not die and even if they die, they will live again.
