I agree that people must read the bible...however i disagree that emphasis for christians should be reading the bible instead of actually helping out those who are in need of help. Many christians can quote several sections of the bible...but how many are sending money to orphanges?
You Joenm how have you tried to help someone less fortunate today?
People get caught up in memorizing the bible and building a facade for themselves around the words they have memorized that they forget that our there in the real world people are still suffering. Faith without any action is dead.

I agree i have a bible...its unfortunate that it is gathers dust sometimes i open it once in a while to quench my thirst...however i believe christians need to do more of practicing what they preach.
