Ephesians 5 (NIV)
21Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
22Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.
24Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
25Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her
28In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.

The Bible clearly outlines the roles for both the Husband (i.e. LOVE) and the Wife (i.e. SUBMIT).
SECONDLY, they are to play their ROLE as to the LORD.
HUSBANDs are to LOVE their wives as Christ loved the Church.... And HOW MUCH DID CHRIST LOVE THE CHURCH? Jesus GAVE his own life for the Church. THE Husband should similarly love his wife. He should FEED and CARE for her, just as Christ does the church.
WIVES are to Submit to their Husbands just as the Church SUBMITS to Christ.

MY CONCLUSION
NO upright wife will find it hard to submit to a husband who totally loves her to 'death'. With such LOVE, submission will be easy.

The unfairness is that many men don't give such love to their wives BUT still demand submission.

WHICH IS more difficult to LOVE or to SUBMIT (as unto the Lord).
