I'm here thinking that may be you went to watch the movie with a preconceived notion from all the media hoopla on it's goriness. Surely, the movie would have been much better with more flashbacks than violence. And with the Romans washing they hands, this movie ought to have been titled " Who Killed Jesus" and NOT "Passion of the Christ"...but that's just me.
