For these I thank thee oh lord:

* For the gift of death which makes it possible for the likes of Mobutu to leave us and which gives hope that MOI is following suit.

* For kicking Adam and Eve out of Eden which was the most boring place on earth.

* For making childbirth a long and painful experience which in turns makes mums the most loving parents to their children.

* For making 8/9 of our lives spent taking care of routine maintenance chores like sleeping, cleaning up, eating etc which slows down the pace of life and makes us live longer (80+ years).

* For making humans age with time which ensures that 50 year olds are not competing with 15 year-olds for mates.

* For bringing diseases like athritis and cancer which enables our bright scientists and doctors to use their God-given brains thus making them employable.
