Since you sound like you know them better would you mind revealing the reason of them being a secret society.

I agree with you that people have tendecy of believing stuff at a face value.However your observation has strongly executed bias on christians where as not only christaians do the face valuing but also humans race as whole.The above quote is wrongly used.Everybody is God's,regardless of whatever path you have decided to follow and all are awaiting the vindication of God's character.Therefore that verse rather outlines that the reason God's people perish is because of ignorance,they have failed to seek true wisdom which comes from above and have rather chosen to follow the demands of their flesh;act on their on will.

My friend you are applying this verses in situtaions that rather have no relationship with them at all.What has free masonary got to do with Jews and Christ.As matter of fact christ came for the sake everybody.Look at Christ closely in his mission he is outspoken and does so in public,he is not even threaten by the fact that the authorities of that time were conspiring to eliminate him.

Why is freemasonry in perpetual secrecy since its inception.All societies have come out openly and revealed their missions to the public.If your view is that we are looking at freemasonary at face value then why would you or them not come out with a concrate point that would end speculations of their honor to Satanism.Even some masons themselves do not know what this fraternity is all about yet they are members.

What is there to hide in society which claims purity within its body?

Prince Hall dismisses the notion that they are a religious group.It then means that everybody regardless of their religion and social status is entitled to join.If that be the case he would then be contradicting a leaflet published by by the Board of General Purposes of the United Grand Lodge of England in 1984.This leaflet says....

.....The essential qualification for admission into and continuing membership(freemasonry)is a belief in a Supreme Being. Membership is open to men of any race or religion who can fulfil this essential qualification and are of good repute.

Even if that qualification ensured one's membership to beccome a mason,it does not necessary gaurantee their rightiousness towards achieving Spiritual grades,for even Jesus acknowlegdes that fact that there are such people in the society and therefore says that aptly that calling him "Lord Lord" is not a ticket to his Kingdom.

Free massoms take oaths which are disregarded as orignating from the evil one by Christ himself.This leaves you wondering about the supreme bieng in focus.Prior to that they partake in rituals which they keep secret.

Free masons themselves do not understand their own proceeding.Charles H. Tupper,a mason himself says......
