I usually apply the silence principle especially when am seeing and hearing alot of unyokonyoko as long as it is not hindering my life. I always try my best not to utter a single word coz the moment I do, the volcano is out. I'll speak my mind and bluntly so and I tend to get angrier the more I or the other person talks.
The trick is to diffuse a volatile situation by giving gentle answers but at times, some people need harsh responses to get back their senses.
What I consider foul is making conclusions before knowing all the relevant information. Using reverse psychology or making the other person look like a villain when having an argument. Being inconsiderate. Using violence.
