First of all, what a blessing to have a snowless Christmas! We were up mpaka 3am expecting the usual snowstorm lakini wapi! But Christmas was mzuri. Mathe pikad pilau, chapos, mbuzi mchuzi na a spicy cabbage stew. One of my home-boys who is in Stato for the first time felt so much at home. We fikad church on Christmas eve and church was filled to the brim. U bet those peepz will not show up again in church til next year Christmas Eve.

Now smoky clubs....Hmm..I fikad a few clubs in Niagara, Canada and those folks chain smoke! There were mingi Americans in one club and the owner said the Dollar exchange rate was good. But the place was expensive. I recall one place where a bottle of beer was Canadian $ 4.00. So I opted to drink cranberry juice instead. And the streets are lined with one Gentleman's club after another. Waa! Majabu.

The place feels so multi-cultural. U meet mingi Indians, Chinese, Vietnamese and East Europeans-Albanians, Serbians, a few Russians. I met a Nigerian dude cleaning a bathroom in one of the clubs I fikad. He had an assorted array of colognes and soaps. When u wash your hands, he gives u a fresh towel to clean your hands. After that he said: 'Tip'. I was like 'Oga I no get money'. Then he goes 'Good-day Sah'....

When u have a chance just fika Canada. All u need is a multiple-entry visa to fika Canada as many times as u wanna fika in a year. And carry your other visa cos the Americans will ask u a flurry of questions. As for those with American papers, beba your Passport and other important documents like Green Card.

The Canadians are so friendly. I wanna fika Toronto and Montreal for my birthday. I'm so ready for another Canadian experience.
