There are 4 things that draw attention to this girl's face:

1. Very big, beautiful, clear eyes. They kind of give her a pretty innocent-schoolgirl look.

2. The lips are full, one can tell that despite the makeup. Nice smile.

3.She's got pretty high but full cheeks. Now considering that this is a pretty slender girl, that translates to healthy and well fed (just my simpleton opinion, but then again si we africans like our women to have a healthy appetite). Not a bad chin too.

4. The broad nose. Ok most would think that it would take away from her looks but on the contrary, I figure it won her the prize. It's actually the first thing you notice, and because of it you are made to study the face more closely and hence notice everything else about her. An african nose is supposed to be broad anyway. Besides beauty is when you look good despite your flaws, otherwise it wouldn't be natural now would it?

On the hair thing, the issue is not about it being long or short (personally I prefer long), but about it looking good when it's 100% natural. Make-up? I would rather they did not put any on, but then again I am just a humble quack critic.

Now, if I had to choose the Nokia Face of Africa.... well let's just say we would have to throw away the current rule book and come up with a whole new set of criteria.

Step away from that idiot.. I'm certified!
