A pretty bird that sang the sweetest song
And wherever she flapped her wings
Light followed her like a shadow
Bringing me warmth and reaffirmation
A sense of security i had seized to embrace in a long while
She was'nt just a pretty bird
But one whose fragrance excited my very soul
The eyes of this bird sent to save me said it all
The most beautiful thing id ever seen
A reflection of the world and her beauty shown in those piercing eyes
It felt good to be liberated,amazing to be set free
And just like she glided with grace,i too found i could float on air
Just a thought was enough to transform my very sadness
All i had to do was think,and behold my paradise would emerge
I the ruler of my kingdom,the very crown jewels placed delicately on my head
Bestowing me the might and the will to chart my own path
Reminding me of the power of dream and belief in oneself
