Having a Crochet table cloth was a standard in Kenya, at the very least 4 out of 6 homes would use these exotically decorated and knitted crochet mats and table tops to cover virtually every piece of furniture in the house. Kenyans would cover their Television sets, their Sanyo Radios, their seats, their home phones and even their Thermos and food in extreme situations.
